I was raised in a small Baptist church in Arkansas. I received a BS degree in Education from the University of Louisiana in Monroe and a Master’s degree from University of North Texas.
In 1996, Mark Green and I married. We have four children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Prior to moving to Granbury, Mark and I were members of St. Martin in the Fields Episcopal Church where I was confirmed by Bishop Iker. Mark and I taught a fourth grade Sunday school class. After 37 years of teaching elementary and being a reading specialist, I retired from Birdville ISD.
In 2014, Mark and I attended GSAC and both immediately fell in love with the church and family. I am a proud volunteer of Good Shepherd Fun Bunch (aka Sandwich ministry). In January 2018, I began my three year journey as a Vestry Member.
