Brotherhood of St. Andrew

There are three disciplines Brothers follow: Prayer, Study and Service.  Meets on Saturday in the Parish Hall after 8:00 am Morning Prayer in the Chapel. We welcome and encourage all men to participate as their personal schedules permit.

The Anglican Church’s oldest ministry is also one of its most effective. The Brotherhood of St. Andrew has been bringing men and young men to Jesus Christ for 133 years since its founding on the cold, wintry day of Nov. 30, 1883 at St. James’ Episcopal Church in downtown Chicago.

In May 2016, the BOSA of Good Shepherd resumed formal meetings and we invite you to become part of the 133 year old ministry. A group of 6-8 men currently meet on Saturday mornings for breakfast, prayer, study and we are in the process of developing service projects.
